The established symposium will take place on 29 and 30 March 2022 at the Messe und Congress Centrum \u201cHalle M\u00fcnsterland\u201d in M\u00fcnster. Organised by \u201cHaus der Technik\u201d in Essen, the event provides young scientists an excellent platform for presenting research work and results in the field of battery technology to a broad professional audience. The call for papers for poster contributions and lectures is open until 31 October 2021. The best poster contributions as well as outstanding lectures will be awarded.<\/p><p>\u201cWe focus on the decisive factors that determine the marketability of a battery: high performance and energy density, a long service life, safety and low costs. In recent years, sustainability has been added as another parameter,\u201d says Chairman Prof. Dr Martin Winter, Scientific Director of MEET Battery Research Center at the University of M\u00fcnster and of Helmholtz Institute M\u00fcnster of Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich. Co-Chairman Prof. Dr Dirk Uwe Sauer, Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) at RWTH Aachen University, adds: &#8220;We offer young scientists an established platform for presenting themselves and their results.
